WHOLE HOME AUDIO

Whether you are entertaining guests or simply relaxing around the house, a multi-room audio system allows your music to follow the action. Your home can be fully wired for audio, indoors and out, allowing you to choose from a variety of audio sources to be played simultaneously throughout your home. Speakers may be free standing or installed—even painted over—into your ceilings or walls to create a virtually invisible sound source. We can even install a stereo speaker overhead in your shower!

A typical house audio setup will have all components in a single location in the home—most often placed in a rack in a utility room or nearby the home theater, or fitted into a cabinet in a central location media area. Wire is pulled from this location to other rooms in the home, where the audio will usually be controlled by a volume control or keypad. Many touch-screen keypads allow you to toggle through available audio sources and select songs to add to your playlist; volume controls will allow you to adjust the volume in a given room but not change the source or select specific music. This would have to be done from the main location or a nearby television, if you so choose. Ultimately, you will have a number of options to choose from which will allow you various levels of control. Speaking with a representative at House of Sound & Video will allow you to find the perfect balance between your desires and your budget.
